Café LECER

It's a place like Lacena da Chucha, but better; it's across from the Church of La Estrada. I'm sure I go every day, and so I go to the church to pray to Our Lady of Fatima, who I don't believe is Our Lady, but a being of Light who warned us of what was going to happen. Until 2008, I used to go and attend the night vigil, with so many people holding candles, it felt like I was in a dream. The last time I went was when Pope John Paul II met with the only one still alive. On May 13th, she was shot. Ali Agca, the bullet was millimeters from her aorta. That day, the Pope placed her in the crown. The last secret was that if Russia surrendered to the Sacred Heart of Mary, it would become a normal country again, and Mr. Gorbachev did so, and a year later, the GDR and all the countries behind the Iron Curtain were free again. As I said, I visited Café Lecer on Easter Sunday, and there were a lot of people. I recommend the pastries they make themselves; they're delicious. I think I'll stop by almost every day. Sick people, like me, are looking for peace and quiet, not to be in the spotlight. This is a small town, and everyone asks how you are, are you in pain? And I always smile and tell them I'm fine, but what's wrong? I look bad. No, on the contrary, you're like when you were young. You must have made a pact with the devil. And even though I do the crossword puzzle and don't look at anyone, so no one asks me anything, my good friends are the ones who get to me. Jose, we go to Carmen's house for lunch, a barbecue. I go with them to Carmen's house, another friend from my teens.

I love this quiet place. The staff is very attentive and efficient. Everything is very clean. What I like most is the tortilla pinché; I'd wake up at night to eat it.

Good food, good service, and good people. 3 Bs are exactly what we're looking for, those of us who travel so much. Highly recommended if you're passing through A Estrada.
